Cocoa For Charity Stand Returns In New Westchester Mall Location
Evan and Joshua's Hot Cocoa Stand has raised more than $40,000 to fight pediatric cancer.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — For the past 13 years, Evan and Josh Greenberg have run a hot cocoa stand for charity. It started out in their Mamaroneck home's garage and eventually moved indoors.
In all that time, the brothers have raised more than $40,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
This year, Evan and Joshua's Hot Cocoa Stand is moving to a new location within The Westchester mall in White Plains.

It will be located now on Retailer Level 1, Center Court, in the Nordstrom Wing and will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9 and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10.
"I'm really excited about the hot cocoa stand moving to this great, new location," said CEO Evan Greenberg, 17. "We raised over $8,000 last year alone at our first at The Westchester, so I think we can be even more successful this time."

Co-founder Josh Greenberg, 15, said he was really excited knowing that all the money they raise is being used to help cure cancer in children.

"I can't thank The Westchester and Paula Kelliher, director of marketing, enough for giving us this opportunity to raise even more money at this new location," he said.
Ken Greenberg, the boys' father and self-proclaimed CCO — Chief Cocoa Officer — said it was hard to believe his kids have been raising money this way for the last 13 years and what started in his garage is such a big endeavor.
"The boys deserve so much credit for its continued success," he said.
In addition to hot cocoa, baked goods and raffles will be available. Raffle items include sports memorabilia and tickets from the Mets, Yankees, Giants, Jets, Rangers, Knicks, Nets and Islanders, along with non-sports donations from local businesses.
Pediatric Cancer Foundation President Lauren Robinson said the Greenberg brothers embody what her charity is about.
"These boys demonstrate that our mission, Coming Together for a Cure, can begin at a young age with small hands," she said.
"Evan and Joshua's energy, spirit and kindness are priceless," Robinson said. "This cocoa stand is a success of the heart."
