Decision 2022: Larchmont/Mamaroneck Patch Election Guide
The polls open at 6 a.m. on Tuesday for the historic general election. Here's what you need to know to make your voice heard.

LARCHMONT-MAMARONECK, NY — The general election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8 with polls open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. That is, if you didn't take advantage of early voting.
Voters can find polling places and learn about absentee ballots, from the county’s Board of Elections.
For additional voting information, visit Vote411, an interactive website created and maintained by the League of Women Voters. The site supplies personalized ballots and polling locations simply by entering the voter's home address.

Nov. 8, 2022 General Election Absentee Ballot Information:

- Nov. 8 is the last day to postmark the General Election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than Nov. 15.
- Nov. 8 is the last day to deliver the General Election absentee ballot in person to the Board of Elections or at any poll site throughout the county, by the close of the polls on election day.
Voters will choose among candidates for national, state and local offices, as well as state and local ballot questions.

To address and combat the impact of climate change and damage to the environment, the 'Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act of 2022' authorizes the sale of state bonds up to four billion two hundred million dollars to fund environmental protection, natural restoration, resiliency, and clean energy projects. Shall the Environmental Bond Act of 2022 be approved?
Village Proposition One:
SHALL THERE BE APPROVED AND ADOPTED IN THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NEW YORK, A LOCAL LAW ENTITLED “LOCAL LAW E OF 2022, A LOCAL LAW REGARDING THE AUTHORITY TO APPOINT THE CLERK-TREASURER AMENDING SECTIONS 9-5 AND 9-6 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK TO TRANSFER THE AUTHORITY TO APPOINT THE CLERK-TREASURER FROM THE MAYOR TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SUPERSEDING SECTION 4-400(1)(C)(1) OF THE VILLAGE LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK?
Village Proposition Two:
SHALL THERE BE APPROVED AND ADOPTED IN THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NEW YORK, A LOCAL LAW ENTITLED “LOCAL LAW F OF 2022, A LOCAL LAW REGARDING THE AUTHORITY TO REMOVE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, AMENDING SECTIONS 58-1 AND 342-88 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK TO TRANSFER THE AUTHORITY TO REMOVE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS FROM THE MAYOR TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SUPERSEDING SECTIONS 7-712(9) AND 7-718(9) OF THE VILLAGE LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK”?

SHALL THERE BE APPROVED AND ADOPTED IN THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NEW YORK, A LOCAL LAW ENTITLED “LOCAL LAW G OF 2022, REGARDING THE AUTHORITY TO FILL VACANCIES ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES”, WHICH AMENDS SECTIONS 9-5 AND 9-6 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK TO TRANSFER THE AUTHORITY TO FILL VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF VILLAGE TRUSTEE FROM THE MAYOR TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SUPERSEDING SECTIONS 3-312(3) AND 3-312(3)(b) OF THE VILLAGE LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK”?
