Developer Appealing Larchmont Demolition Moratorium
The developer wants to tear down one home to build four new ones.
The Village of Larchmont’s moratorium on demolition in residential neighborhoods is being challenged by a developer.
The Journal News said KOSL Building Group, which wants to tear down the home at 40 Ocean Ave. in order to construct four new homes, said it’s being targeted by the village.
In an appeal of the village’s decision, the attorney for the developer confirmed prior to buying the property that no impediments existed to tearing down the existing house.
