DWI Dragnet Mamaroneck Police Blotter

Village of Mamaroneck (VOM) Police caught three intoxicated drivers during a checkpoint stop on Dec. 18. If you plan to drink alcohol, get a designated sober driver or a cab to take you home.

These are some of the cases being investigated by the  and of Mamaroneck Police Departments from Dec. 13 to Dec. 20.

Animal Complaint
A resident on Sylvan Ave. called police at around 10 p.m., Dec. 14 to report a dog left out in the cold for several hours.

Burglary
Sometime between Dec.13 and 17, tools and hardware valued at $2,900 were taken from a garage on Halstead. The loss was reported on Dec. 17.

Sometime during the night of Dec. 18, someone entered an apartment on West Boston Post Rd. and took $300 cash.

Criminal Mischief
Tires on two vehicles were punctured while parked on Spruce Street. The damage was reported on Dec. 16.

DWI
James Garry, 19, of Mamaroneck, was arrested for DWI on West Boston Post Road at 3 a.m., Dec. 17.

Geraldine Lamy, 60, of Mamaroneck, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle accident near Jefferson Avenue Extension around 10:30 p.m., Dec. 17. No one was injured in the accident.

Francis Pezzola, 28, of Mamaroneck, was arrested for DWI near the 1000 block of Mamaroneck Ave. at 1:07 a.m., Dec. 18.

Felix Avila, 45, of White Plains, was arrested for DWI near the 1000 block of Mamaroneck Ave. at 2:28 a.m., Dec. 18.

Carl Pino, 27, of Connecticut, was arrested for DWI near the 1000 block of Mamaroneck Ave. at 2:57 a.m., Dec. 18.

Alexander Perez, 29, of Connecticut, was arrested for DWI near 211 Mamaroneck Ave. at 3:21 a.m., Dec. 18.

Larceny
Between Dec. 19 and 20, someone took a bicycle chained in the drive way of a residence on West Boston Post Rd.

Seven vehicle accidents without injury.

Petit Larceny
Nine cans of Budweiser were pilfered from the Stop & Shop supermarket at 1326 Boston Post Rd. at 8:23 p.m., Dec. 18.
