The Village and Town of Mamaroneck and the Village of Larchmont will present a free screening of Gasland, the critically-acclaimed documentary that delves into the controversial practice of hydraulic fracturing or "fracking" and its potential effects on our water supply.
The screening is part of a week-long environmentally-themed film festival, Green Screen, featuring eight films on various green topics, from fracking to bottled water to organic farming. The film will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Paul Gallay, Executive Director of the Riverkeeper environmental organization.
