FL Man Arrested On I-95 For Having Guns, Drugs: Police
Police initially stopped at what was a possibly disabled vehicle.

MAMARONECK, NY — Police arrested a Florida man on I-95 for allegedly having loaded handguns and drugs. State police charged Jeffrey J. Colburn, 51, of Port Orange, FL with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was also charged with a vehicle and traffic violation.
Around 3:15 a.m. Aug. 5, state police stopped to assist a possibly disabled vehicle on I-95 in the Village of Mamaroneck.
During the interview with Colburn, probable cause was established to search the vehicle.

Police said they found a loaded Glock 27 handgun and loaded SCCY CPX-2 handgun.
Also found during the search was about 4 grams of cocaine and one fentanyl transdermal 50mg/hr strip.

Colburn was taken into custody and processed at the Hawthorne barracks.
He was arraigned in the Village of Mamaroneck Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 or $20,000 bond.
Colburn is scheduled to return to court Aug. 9.
