LARCHMONT, NY — Bring questions and suggestions for your neighborhood police officers at the next "Coffee with a Cop" in Larchmont, this Friday.
The Larchmont Police Department is inviting local residents this Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., to share a cup of coffee with local police officers.
The meet-and-greet will be a great chance for police officers and community members to learn more about each other and to strengthen community ties in a casual, friendly environment.

Officials said there will be "No agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know your officers."
"Coffee with a Cop" is a national initiative supported by The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. The event is being held across the nation, as local police departments aim to make lasting connections with the communities they serve. The program aims to advance community policing by improving relationships between police officers and community members, one cup of coffee at a time.
