Holiday Sanitation Reminders From The Town Of Mamaroneck

During January, Town and Village Highway Departments will collect Christmas trees placed at curbside without plastic bags or metal wiring.

During this holiday season, the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Sanitation Commission would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and new year. To conclude 2022, we are providing the following list of important reminders:

  • Saturday, December 24th – Yard Closed
  • Monday, December 26th – No Collection, Yard Closed
  • Monday, January 2nd – No Collection, Yard Closed
  • Please note the leaf pick up ended December 15, 2022. Please do not continue to place leaves at the curb. All leaves and brush must be brought directly to the Maxwell Avenue yard for disposal.
  • For the month of January, Town and Village Highway Departments will collect Christmas trees. Trees must be placed at curbside for collection without plastic bags or metal wiring. After January, any remaining trees must be brought to the yard at 40 Maxwell Avenue.
  • Please be advised that wrapping paper is not recyclable. Wrapping paper must be placed in your general waste container.
