Zion Memorial Chapel, Westchester Country’s ONLY, all-Jewish, free standing and independent funeral home, is celebrating its 30th year.  Opened in 1996 under the advice and direction of Rabbi Steven Ziskind, a mentor and friend of Vincent Graziano, Zion was predicated on the belief that the Jewish community deserved better and more options when it came to burying their loved ones.  Zion, with no conglomerate affiliations and no shared facilities, has been able to maintain better than competitive costs over the years.  They remain, in fact, the lowest cost Jewish funeral provider in Westchester County and are proud of such.  Zion Memorial Chapel has created strong bonds with area rabbis who recognized the firm’s unique attention to detail and heightened compassion towards grieving families. About Actors Conservatory Theatre
Actors Conservatory Theatre (ACT) is a non-profit Westchester-based theatre company, voted Best of Westchester in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Founded in 1975, ACT is one of the oldest community theatre organizations in Westchester. ACT has presented over 140 mainstage productions, including classic and lesser-known musicals, comedies, and dramas. Each year, ACT’s Junior Troupe provides students in grades 5 through 12 the opportunity to perform in a musical production tuition free. The ACT Presents…Original Works series began in 2019.The series has featured an original screenplay; online monologues; and full length, one-act and short form plays.ACT has also conducted numerous acting workshops for children, beginner actors and experienced performers. Many, in part thanks to ACT, have gone on to successful careers in TV, film and theater.
