Larchmont Police Blotter: April 17-24

Owner of Watercolor Cafe charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and released on his own recognizance.

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the Larchmont Police Department between April 17-24:

Penal Law arrest

A Boston Post Road business owner was arrested on April 17 following an altercation with a parking enforcement officer. Bruce Carroll, 57, engaged in an argument with a parking enforcement officer attempting to issue a summons to his vehicle, and made physical contact with the officer, preventing her from issuing the summons. He was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mischief

A West Avenue resident reported on April 19 that sometime during the overnight hours of April 17 someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot located at West and North avenues.

Vehicle & Traffic Law arrest

A Washington state man was arrested on April 23 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed operating a vehicle on Willow Avenue. The vehicle registration was seized and the operator released on the issuance of an appearance ticket.

In addition to the preceding, Larchmont Police officers also responded to the following:

- 10 burglar alarms

- 5 motor vehicle accidents

- 6 aided calls

- 37 other calls for service
