Larchmont Police Blotter: April 24 - May 1

Three bikes were stolen near the MTA-Metro North station.

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the Larchmont Police Department between April 24 and May 1st, 2010:

Vehicle & Traffic Law arrest

A Bronx woman was arrested on April 26 and charged with operating with a suspended license after she was observed operating a vehicle on Chatsworth Avenue. The vehicle was released to another driver, and the operator released on the issuance of an appearance ticket.

Larceny

A Mamaroneck Town man reported on April 26 that sometime during the day someone stole his bicycle, valued at $300, from Lot 1.

A New Rochelle man reported on April 28 that sometime the previous day someone stole his bicycle, valued at $700, from Lot 3.

A Mamaroneck Town man reported on April 29 that sometime during the day someone stole his bicycle, valued at $500, from Railroad Way.

Vehicle impound

A scofflaw vehicle with $600 in outstanding fines was impounded and towed from Lot 3 on April 27.

Fraudulent checks

A Bay Ave resident reported on April 29 that someone had cashed two fraudulent checks against his account for an aggregate value of $6900.
