Larchmont Police Blotter: May 1-8
Two local residents arrested for operating their vehicles with suspended licenses.
The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the Larchmont Police Department between May 1-8:
Vehicle & Traffic Law arrest
- A Mamaroneck Town man was arrested on May 1 after he was involved in a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident, and as a result of the accident investigation, responding officers determined that he was operating with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on the issuance of an appearance ticket.

- A Chatsworth Avenue resident was arrested on May 5 and charged with operating with a suspended license after she was observed operating the vehicle and committing a traffic infraction on Boston Post Road. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $300 bail.

A 19-year-old Mamaroneck Village woman was arrested during the early morning hours of May 2 after colliding her vehicle in the rear of another vehicle on Boston Post Road, and fleeing the scene. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and released on her own recognizance.
Criminal mischief
A Harrison man reported on May 8 that sometime between 1 and 3 a.m. someone threw paint on his vehicle as well as punctured his tires while it was parked on Railroad Way.
In addition to the preceding, Larchmont Police officers also responded to the following:
- 5 burglar alarms
- 7 motor vehicle accidents
- 9 aided calls
- 48 other calls for service
