Levinson's colleagues said the honor is well-deserved. His passion for media and politics has continued to be a driving force throughout his career. Levinson started in journalism as a staff writer for The GW Hatchet, the student newspaper of the George Washington University, which is second-oldest continuously running newspaper in DC, only behind The Washington Post. He covered the crime beat, where he met weekly with lead detectives to investigate criminal activity and its impact on the campus.

Since then, Levinson has taken his talents to the big leagues. He now works at FOX News as a National Field Producer.
