LM Lions And Sedona Taphouse Make A 'Meaty' Donation To LMC Media
The "rare" fundraising effort supported an essential organization that helps connect neighbors and brings the community to our screens.

LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK, NY — During the month of October, the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions joined forces with Sedona Taphouse in Mamaroneck for "Mondays Dine Out for Charity" in support of a good cause.
Sedona raised $1208 in support of LMC Media. The Lions contributed $1000, for a combined total donation of $2208.
"LMC Media provides the supportive environment and facilities necessary to strengthen the community by encouraging freedom of speech, public dialogue and artistic expression to reflect the diverse needs of the Larchmont-Mamaroneck community," Sedona Taphouse said when the group was named the October beneficiary.

Sedona dedicates a full month of Mondays throughout the year in support of local charities and service groups.

LMC Media is the largest NY-based community media center outside of NYC. Their mission is to connect, create and inform the community through the use of digital media. They strengthen their community by sharing the talents, experiences and creative output of friends and neighbors and by keeping the community informed about the work of government, schools, businesses and nonprofit organizations. The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions, who will be celebrating their Centennial in 2023, focus on supporting existing non-profit and community service groups by bringing community service leaders together to determine needs, solutions and resources. The LM Lions are part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization of nearly 1.5 million members. The Lions' signature cause is vision/blindness, along with hunger, the environment, diabetes, childhood cancer and the future of youth. They are signatories of the United Nations resolutions on women’s and refugee rights, and are currently active in Afghanistan & Ukrainian refugee resettlement.
