LM Lions Wine Tasting Fundraiser To Improve Palates And Build Futures

LARCHMONT-MAMARONECK, NY — Organizers of the LM Lions special wine tasting event promise your new favorite wine awaits — the trick will be finding your preferred cuvée among 12 contenders.

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club will present a tasting of 12 prized wines specially selected by David Calkins of Wine Gems, on Nov. 17, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. The gathering at Stanz Café, located at 26 Chatsworth Ave., will also include a wine auction to which Lions Club members will be contributing their own favorites.

Organizers say the fundraiser will be a lively way to experience new wines and stock up on cheer for the holiday season.

The $50 entrance fee includes wine tasting, auction access and a selection wine-paired hor d'oeuvres prepared by Stanz Café. Checks, made payable to Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Foundation (a 501 (c)(4) organization), can be mailed to Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club, PO Box 294, Mamaroneck, NY, 10543.
