LoHud.com: Coyote Sighting This Morning

Town of Mamaroneck police investigated a coyote sighting this morning, according to an article in the Journal News. A southbound driver on Fenimore Road told police he had seen a coyote run into the woods near Poccia Circle, which is close to the Winged Foot Country Club, the article said. Police told the Journal News that they could not find the animal after the 7:13 a.m. call.

Residents are advised to notify their local police department if they see a coyote, to not approach the animal, and to secure garbage at home to keep coyotes or other wildlife away.
