MAG Presents "Indian Dwellings, a solo show by Jim Maciel
Come to MAG to learn about American Indian tribes and their use of natural materials to build dwellings that have lasted to this day.
Mamaroneck Artists Guild is presenting a solo show by Jim Maciel titled “Indian Dwellings”. Inspired by his trips to the American Southwest, he became interested in American Indian tribes and their use of natural materials to build impressive dwellings in the most extreme landscapes that have lasted to this day. His sumi ink drawings on watercolor paper are the result of his deep interest in that culture.
This show will run from Tuesday, May 30, 2017 through Saturday, June 17, 2017. You are invited to meet Mr. Maciel at a reception Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1-3 pm.
Gallery Hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 12 noon – 5:00 p.m.
