Mamaroneck FBLA Kicks Off the 2017-2018 Year
Mamaroneck FBLA starts off the school year with their freshmen recruitment pizza party, and preparations for FDM.
Mamaroneck FBLA welcomed in the 2017-2018 school year with enthusiasm and excitement.
On September 13th, Mamaroneck FBLA hosted a meeting where students interested in joining the club could attend for pizza and refreshments, as well as to learn about the club and organization, and decipher whether they are interested in joining.
The meeting had over seventy people in attendance, engaged in the presentation of Co-Presidents of the club, Isabel Alvarado and Gabriel de Naurois. The Co-Presidents introduced the Officer Team in the midst of all the excitement and explained the basics of the club and the mission of FBLA.

FBLA stands for “Future Business Leaders of America”, and is a student-run, national organization, where members can learn an array of beneficial life and business skills, while becoming acquainted with the professional world. The Mamaroneck Chapter of FBLA meets every Wednesday at lunch to teach and inform members about things such as public speaking, resume building, appropriate business attire, community service projects, and upcoming events.
Mamaroneck FBLA attends many different conferences, and this year, on October 13th, is honored to host the annual Fall District Meeting. Chapters in District 3S, will congregate at Mamaroneck High School, to attend helpful and informative workshops, listen to successful hedge fund manager, David Einhorn, serve as a keynote speaker, and choose the new District Officer Team. Coordinating this event, is Mamaroneck FBLA member, Chloe Weiser, who is the District 3S Vice President. Mamaroneck FBLA invites any new, interested members to join us at the Fall District Meeting.
