Mamaroneck FBLA Visits Barclays Center
Mamaroneck FBLA attends Barclays Center, blending a night of business with basketball.

This past Friday, Mamaroneck FBLA visited the Barclays Center for FBLA night. All chapters from NYS FBLA were welcome to attend. Various schools attended the event such as Hendrick Hudson High School, Lakeland High School, and of course Mamaroneck High School. Over 200 FBLA members attended the event!
Upon arrival, the Brooklyn Nets gave all chapters a brief tour of the arena. Students visited suites inside the stadium, a practice facility, and had the opportunity to take photos on the court. Following the tour of the arena, several executives within the sports and entertainment industry spoke in front of all of the FBLA members. Executives, including Nets radio play-by-play announcer Chris Carrino, discussed their career paths and the lessons they've learned along the way. Executives offered advice to FBLA members and reminded students to follow their passion.
After hearing from several executives, students then got to enjoy the Nets game. In an exciting game that went into overtime, the Nets managed to squeak out a win against the Toronto Raptors. It was an exciting night from start to finish!
