Mamaroneck Man, 25, Arrested on DWI Charge

Mamaroneck resident Giovanni Pena, 25, was arresed on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated Friday, Aug. 28, following a one-car crash on I-95 at exit 18B.

The crash occurred at about 9:24 p.m. when Pena’s vehicle strck the center median. Troopers investigating the crash found Pena was intoxicated, according to state police. He was transported and processed at the state police New Rochelle facility, where he refused to submit to a breath test.

Pena was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court on Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m.
