Mamaroneck Man Faces Aggravated DWI Charge

Police said they found the man's off the road into an embankment.

MAMARONECK, NY - A one-vehicle accident yielded a drunk driving charge for a Mamaroneck man.

State police said they responded to a report of an accident on I-95 near the Exit 18A off ramp.

When they arrived, police found a Chevrolet Cruze off the roadway in a dirt embankment.

The driver, Christian D. Suarez, 25, was found to be intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent.

He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Suarez was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Village of Mamaroneck Court June 23, 2016.
