Mamaroneck Police Blotter: Sept 13-19
A Mamaroneck man is arrested for striking another male over the head with a crowbar during a dispute over money.

The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents between Sept. 13 and 19:
Assault
- On Sept. 17, a 25-year-old male from Mamaroneck was arrested for striking another male over the head with a crowbar during a dispute over money on the 500 block of Warren Avenue. The victim had lacerations to the head and was taken to Sound Shore.
DWI
- On Sept. 13, Hector Garcia, a 29-year-old male from White Plains, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Mamaroneck Avenue.
-On Sept. 18, Sejal Parikh, a 25-year-old female from White Plains, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Mamaroneck Avenue.
Burglary
- Reported on Sept. 18, an unknown person broke into a home on the 700 block of Prospect Avenue sometime between Sept. 11 and 18. The garage door, window and miscellaneous items were spray painted.
Criminal Mischief
- A commercial building on the 200 block of Mamaroneck Avenue was vandalized with graffiti between September 11 and 13. The damage was reported on Sept. 13.
- On the morning of Sept. 15, a vehicle owner parked overnight in the 1000 block of East Boston Post Road discovered both their passenger side windows had been broken.
- Sometime between Sept. 10 and 13, two picnic tables and benches at Daniel Warren Elementary School were damaged, one with white paint graffiti. Damage was reported on Sept. 16.
- On Palmer Avenue between Delancey and Stanley avenues, graffiti was discovered on an electrical box and village signs. Damage was reported on Sept. 17.
- On Sept. 19, on the 900 block of Taylors Lane someone spray painted a mailbox sometime during the previous night.
Pedestrian Accident
-On Sept. 14, a 45-year-old male bicyclist from the Bronx was hit by a vehicle on the 400 block of Mamaroneck Avenue.
Suspicious Incident
- On Sept. 19, a white male in a red vehicle on Mamaroneck Avenue near White Plains Road asked a 15-year-old youth to get into his vehicle. The youth fled.

- 6 motor vehicle accidents
- 3 hit & runs
- 7 village code violations
- 1 incident of harassment
- 1 scofflaw
The Town of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents between Sept. 13 and Sept. 19:
Criminal Mischief
- On Sept. 17, a fence on North Chatsworth was damaged by several suspects.
Petit Larceny
- On Sept. 16, a silver and yellow bicycle valued at $600 was stolen from a residence on Doris Road.
- On Sept. 19, a blue bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from the garage of an Echo Lane home.
