Mamaroneck Police Blotter: Sept. 7 - 12
Compared to past weeks, it's been quiet in the Village and Town of Mamaroneck in the last six days.

The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents between Sept. 7 and Sept. 12:
Assault
- On Sept. 11, a 57-year-old male from Mamaroneck was charged with assault after a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation on Madison Street. The victim was lacerated on the top of the head and nose and was transported to Sound Shore Hospital, police said.
Petit Larceny
- On Sept 8, a cell phone was reported stolen from a locker at Mamaroneck High School.
- On Sept. 11, Radio Shack on Mamaroneck Avenue reported the loss of electrical equipment valued at $670. Investigation is pending.
Criminal Mischief
- On Sept 10, a large scratch was discovered on the door of a vehicle parked on Jefferson Avenue at around 7:00 p.m.
- Two right tires were slashed on a vehicle parked on the 500 block of North Wagner Avenue between Sept. 5 and Sept. 11. The damage was reported on Sept. 11.
Stolen Vehicle
- On Sept. 8, a car parked in the driveway of a home near the 1000 block of Old Post Road was reported stolen at around 10:30 a.m. The vehicle's keys may have been left in one of the doors, according to police reports.
- Also on Sept. 8, at around 11:35 a.m., a truck struck a bridge on Mamaroneck Avenue. No damage was done to the bridge. The driver fled the scene, and police said the truck was stolen in Yonkers the morning of the incident.
Motor vehicle accident with Injury
- On Sept. 9, a three-car collision occurred in the 1400 block of Halstead Avenue. A 17-year-old male from Purchase was charged with failure to yield at a stop sign and driving with suspended license. Two individuals were transported to Sound Shore Medical Center, two others were treated at the scene.
Code violation with child endangerment
- A 32-year-old male from Mamaroneck exposed his penis and urinated in front of three youths around midnight on the 200 block of Mamaroneck Avenue. He was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

- 16 motor vehicle accidents
- 2 hit & runs
- 1 driving while ability impaired
- 1 Village Code violation
- 2 reports of harassment
- 3 scofflaws
The Town of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents between Sept, 7 and Sept. 12:
Criminal Mischief
- On Sept. 10, a car left parked overnight at a residence on North Chatsworth Avenue was discovered at 8:30 a.m. with scratches on the hood and driver's side door.
Identity Theft
- On Sept. 7, Bloomingdale's alerted a customer after someone attempted using their stolen credit card to purchase a $100 gift card.
