Mamaroneck Police Blotter: Steering Wheel/Airbag Stolen from Acura Shop

There is one case of criminal mischief and one arrest for assault.

These are some of the incidents investigated by the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department during the week of July 5-11:

Criminal mischief

On July 11, between 12:35 and 1:30 p.m., a glass table top on the porch of a Myrtle Boulevard home was damaged. The cost for replacement is unknown, police said.

Issuing a bad check

A Larchmont resident paid for services provided at Larchmont Nails, at 176 Myrtle Blvd., with a $35 check lacking sufficient funds, police said. The matter is still under investigation.

Grand larceny

On July 7, at approximately 11 p.m., a steering wheel/airbag was stolen from the Acura of Westchester auto sales lot. The value of the item is estimated at $1,400.

Assault

On July 8, shortly after midnight, a Town of Mamaroneck resident was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. The 51-year-old male lives with the victim.
