Mam'k Police Blotters: 4 Arrests, 1 Home Burglary
A home in the Town of Mamaroneck was forcefully entered on Feb. 23. No arrests have been made.

Last week, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents:
Suspicious incident
- On Feb. 24, a complainant residing on East Boston Post Road told police that he had found empty drug bags in his building's parking lot. Two insulin needles, latex gloves and medical wipes were also found. The insulin needles were taken to police headquarters. No other information was reported.

Arrests
- On Feb. 24, shortly after 11 a.m., a youth officer who was on patrol near Mamaroneck High School came across someone exiting a black BMW and found that the 18-year-old male was in possession of several small bags of marihuana, police said. The subject, who lives in the Village of Mamaroneck, was arrested and released on $100 bail. He is due back in court tomorrow, March 2nd.

- On Feb. 26, a 44-year-old male from Harrison was arrested for harassment. Police officers reported to the victim's home in the Village of Mamaroneck after someone called 911 from that location and hung up. Upon arriving, police found out that the victim had been slapped across the face and proceeded to arrest the man. He was later released and is due back in court on March 4th.
- On Feb. 28, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police went to a residence on Old White Plains Road on a report of a domestic dispute. Upon running a background check, police determined that there was a bench warrant out of the same jurisdiction for one of the parties involved. The 28-year-old male was arrested, according to police reports.
Identity theft
- On Feb. 26, a former Florida resident reported that she had received a notification from the IRS saying she had filed two tax returns for 2006, when she had only filed one, she told police. The matter is still under investigation.
Hazardous condition
- On Feb. 26, a hazardous condition because of heavy snow was reported on Mamaroneck Avenue (on the so-called "S-turns" on the way to White Plains). The Department of Public Works was notified.
- 11 motor vehicle accidents
- 5 cases of criminal mischief
-4 impounded vehicles
- Several reports regarding backed-up sewers during the snow storm
- 1 "hit and run" accident
- 1 larceny report

Home burglary
- On Feb. 23, at around 6:45 p.m., police reported to an alarm in a home on Eaton Road. Upon arriving, it was determined that the home had been forcefully entered while no one was in. It is unknown if anything was taken at this time.
- On Feb. 22, a 49-year-old Town of Mamaroneck resident was arrested for harassment in the second degree/physical contact. The victim was a 62-year-old male who lived elsewhere.
- 3 motor vehicle accidents
- 1 case of criminal mischief in the 4th degree
