Mamaroneck to Replace Decaying Bridge
The village and town, as well as the Town of Rye, received a state grant.
MAMARONECK, NY — An 80-year-old decaying bridge that crossed the Mamaroneck River is slated to be replaced.
The village and town of Mamaroneck and the Town of Rye received a $2.8 million Department of Transportation grant from the state to replace the Hillside Avenue Bridge, the Journal News reported.
No start dates were given, but the project was expected to take a couple of years.
