Mamaroneck Village Resident Assaulted At Home
A 52-year old village resident and her male friend, 54, were assaulted at her apartment on Halstead Avenue last night by two people known to the woman.

A 52-year old woman and her 54-year old friend were assaulted last night at approximately 8 p.m. by two people known to the woman who forced their way into her home on Halstead Avenue.
Maria Camblo Siemsen, 52, a village resident and Andrew Zastenchik, 49, a North White Plains resident forcibly entered the woman’s apartment and beat both the woman and her male friend, said Village of Mamaroneck (VOM) Police Det. Sandra DiRuzza. The woman suffered cuts to her upper lip and the man had his lower leg broken. He was taken to Sound Shore Hospital for treatment of his injury. Police responded to the residence after they received an anonymous call of a fight in progress at the location.
VOM Police did not comment on the reason for the fight or the relationship between the two people arrested.

Siemsen was arrested and charged with second degree burglary, a felony, and third degree assault, a misdemeanor. Zastenchik was arrested and charged with two felonies: second degree burglary and second degree assault.
Both Siemsen and Zastenchik will be arraigned in village court today.
