Man Charged With Robbing Friend Of $20 In Village
Police: A 31-year-old village resident demanded money from his friend, and then took it when his original request was refused.

A 31-year-old Village of Mamaroneck resident, Derek Winchester, was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony, after he forcibly took $20 from a friend on Friday, Sept. 16, according to police.
Police said Winchester and a friend were driving together to a location on Old White Plains Road in the village at around 9 p.m. when Winchester demanded money from his friend. When the friend refused, he took the $20 by force, according to police. No weapons were used and there were no injuries.
