Massachusetts Man Arrested in Mamaroneck on Drug Charges: Police
Besides pills, police said he had more than 11 ounces of pot.

MAMARONECK, NY — A Massachusetts man was arrested for illegal drug possession Friday in Mamaroneck, police said.
James M. Polcari, 50, of Norwood, MA was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
State Police said troopers stopped a vehicle on I-95 for multiple traffic violations and found Polcari to be in possession of more than 11 ounces of marijuana as well as controlled substances, such as methadone, lorazepam and clonazepam pills.

Polcari was taken to the New Rochelle barracks where he was charged. He was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Mamaroneck Court Jan. 9, 2017.
