LARCHMONT, NY — The Lions Peace Poster Contest is an annual worldwide competition for children 11-13, encouraging them to express their vision of world peace through art. This year’s theme is “Journey of Peace.”

A winning poster from each school was selected by a panel of judges, based on originality, artistic merit and portrayal of the contest theme where winners were honored Nov. 7 at a special presentation at the Larchmont Village Center.

The winning posters then advanced through the district into the international competition. Nesrine Zigha, with guidance from art teacher Victoria Rolett, from The French-American School, won the competition and will advance into the international level.
