VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — Police say a police dog helped to get to the bottom of suspicious behavior in the Village of Mamaroneck.
On Monday, around 2:30 p.m., Village of Mamaroneck K-9 Officer Colasacco was working traffic enforcement in the 700 block of Mamaroneck Ave., when he spotted a car with an expired Florida temporary registration.
After pulling the car over and speaking to the driver, Officer Colasacco brought his K-9 partner, Ike, to conduct a"sniff" of the outside of the vehicle for narcotics. The dog then indicated that drugs were present.
