New Rochelle Victims In Fatal Boston Post Road Crash Are ID'd

The 20-year-old driver was killed and his 18-year-old passenger remains in critical condition at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

MAMARONECK, NY — Town of Mamaroneck police have released the identities of the New Rochelle victims of a fatal single car crash shortly before midnight on July 3.

The driver who was killed in the crash has been identified as Anthony Diosdado, a 20-year-old.

The front seat passenger has been identified as Andy Romeo Fuentes, an 18-year-old. Fuentes remains in critical condition at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

Police said the vehicle left the roadway, struck a light pole and a tree, then collided with the side of a building where the car came to rest on its driver's side. The driver and passenger were extricated from the vehicle by the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department and the Larchmont Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The New Rochelle Fire Department was called in to stabilize the building at 1420 West Boston Post Road, which was heavily damaged in the crash.
