A “daycation” is a getaway without the need to stay overnight. Think of a daycation as a one-day vacation. Even with all that there is to do and see in the greater New York City area, including Westchester, with a little planning you can turn your one-day “daycation” into something relaxing, meaningful and even unforgettable.

On Monday, April 24 at 7:00pm, at the Larchmont Public Library, join Travel Coach, Nina Lesgia for a one hour seminar on how to make your day-long getaways special.

Approaching a daycation as a traveler would can help you discover authentic and fun options. Nina Lesiga will share how to design day trips and choose destinations to achieve that “gone away” feeling. In today’s fast paced world it’s essential to refuel and to rebalance personal perspective for well-being. Daycations can help you do just that.

Stratford, CT, resident Nina Lesiga retired after 30 years in the corporate world and created a "dream job" for her second career. Building on her love of solo adventuring, she created a website and blog, (gottatravelsolo.com) and began offering workshops for those interested in traveling better. As a Travel Coach, Lesiga encourages travel for learning, self-discovery and to feed one’s happiness. She’s appeared on “Connecticut Style” TV and was featured in “Connecticut Magazine”. As a Storyteller, Lesiga co-produces two Storytelling initiatives and leads workshops on “The Art of Storytelling".
