NY Women Sue NJ Borough, Officer After Hit By 100 MPH Cop Car
Other defendants have been named in the lawsuits.

MAMARONECK, NY — Two Westchester women, one of whom was grazed by a speeding police cruiser, have filed lawsuits against the Borough of Lavallette in New Jersey and the officer who was driving. Karen Quigley, 47, of Mamaroneck, an Barbara Sundermann, 57, of Ossining, have filed separate suits alleging the officer was traveling about 100 mph and had his headlights off.
Quigley’s nose was crushed and her leg was severely injured in the 2016 incident, lohud.com said.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office did not charge the officer, citing various factors including Quigley’s intoxication and nonfunctioning streetlights.
