The curbside system taps existing light poles for power, offering slower but convenient charging that could make owning an electric car more realistic for local renters and homeowners without driveways.
   

• Community Gathers to Protest ICE, in Support of Immigrants (larchmontloop.com) — Thirty residents from Larchmont and Mamaroneck are among those reportedly detained by ICE, prompting a packed protest and solidarity gathering at St. John's Episcopal Church in Larchmont. More than 170 neighbors, officials, and faith leaders condemned federal enforcement tactics, highlighted deaths and fear in immigrant communities, and urged stronger local support and political change.
