Police Blotter: Girl Fight Results in Injury, Charity Car Taken For Joy Ride and Missing Computers

The following arrest information was supplied by the Village and Town of Mamaroneck police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Village of Mamaroneck

Tuesday, Nov 15

12:18 a.m. – A 43-year old Rye man driving a 2003 Hummer was pulled over on East Boston Post Road for a traffic infraction.  He was later arrested for DWI.

2:09 a.m. – Two village residents known to each other threw punches after a verbal argument got heated on Maple Avenue.  A 22-year old woman was charged with third degree assault after she hit a 29-year old woman in the head, causing a small cut. 

9:34 a.m. – A Henry Avenue resident reported spray paint damage on their garage door.

11:15 a.m. – A 37-year old village man was issued a summons for having an open container of alcohol on Phillips Park Road.

11:40 a.m. – Two 16-year old boys—a Scarsdale and an Elmsford resident—were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in .

5:11 p.m. – Someone took a 1998 Honda that had been donated out for a joy ride without permission on Fenimore Road.

7:12 p.m. – A woman reported that her 2007 Honda was struck as she drove eastbound on Boston Post Road, in front of the on 1100 E. Boston Post Rd.  The driver of the other car fled the scene without stopping.

Wednesday, Nov. 16

1:26 p.m. – A resident of Harrison Avenue reported that a $400 metal bench was taken around Nov.4.

Town of Mamaroneck

Tuesday, Nov. 15

6:35 p.m. – A $749 Apple Mac Mini Computer and a $399 Apple iPad first generation were discovered missing by a Varela Lane resident.  The man estimates that the items—which were in boxes while renovations were being done to his home—were taken between Oct. 31 and Nov. 14.
