Police Blotter: Heartburn Meds Swiped From CVS, Nocturnal Fights and Gas Pump Severed in Two
The following arrest information was supplied by the Village and Town of Mamaroneck police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Village of Mamaroneck
Saturday, July 23
5:57 a.m. – An unfortunate accident between a gas pump and a truck resulted in the nozzle being cracked into two pieces at the Sunoco station on 540 Mamaroneck Ave. The driver said he misjudged the turn, which caused him to smash into the pump. The driver agreed to replace the damaged pump.

10:37 a.m. – A 19-year old White Plains resident received a summons for using a leaf blower on 640 E. Boston Post Rd., near , in violation of village code.
5:00 p.m. - Backing out of her parking spot at the on 1100 E. Boston Post Rd., a 58-year old Harrison resident driving a 2005 Toyota hit a 2006 Jeep. The driver of the Toyota refused treatment for high blood pressure.

8:39 p.m. – A publicly intoxicated man, 46, on Grand Street was taken to Sound Shore Hospital for evaluation. His bike was taken by the Village of Mamaroneck (VOM) police for safekeeping.
Sunday, July 24
12:08 a.m. – Numerous callers reported a fight in progress on Mamaroneck Avenue, however, when police arrived, both involved parties were gone, leaving only bystanders in their wake.
12:52 a.m. – A brawl between a 35-year old village resident and an unidentified acquaintance on Prospect Avenue resulted in the village resident suffering a blow to the face. The village resident refused medical treatment. The VOM police are investigating.
2:43 a.m. – After rear-ending a Nissan on Grand Street, a 16-year old village resident driving a 1998 Toyota fled the scene. Based on license plate identification, VOM police pulled over the resident and issued him summonses for being an unlicensed operator and leaving the scene of an accident. He will appear shortly in village court.
5:06 a.m. – A 22-year old Bronxville resident was arrested for DWI after he was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation in front of on 232 Mamaroneck Ave.
11:10 a.m. – A 2002 Honda traveling straight on Fenimore Road was struck by a 25-year old New Rochelle resident driving a 2002 Ford, as she made a turn. The New Rochelle resident was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for head injuries.
10:09 p.m. – A Mamaroneck Avenue resident reported that an unknown person entered their residence, as evidenced by a broken lock. There were some personal papers missing. The case is under investigation.
10:12 p.m. – Two roommates on Northrup Avenue feuded over issues including money and a locked door, causing the police to come mediate the dispute. One person left the premises for the evening.
Town of Mamaroneck
Friday, July 22
1:30 p.m. – A 44-year old Bronx resident made contact with his girlfriend—a 43-year old Yonkers resident—at on 1375 Boston Post Rd.in violation of an order of protection that she had against him. The man was arrested on July 25 for second degree criminal contempt, disobedience, after an investigation by the detective division.
6:00 p.m. – A supervisor at on 2444 Boston Post Rd. observed an unidentified man shove two boxes of Prilosec—worth approximately $44—down his pants, after which, he paid for other items at the register and left the store. The man is still wanted for petty larceny.
Saturday, July 23
12:10 p.m. – A Lancia Lane resident reported that someone attempted to break into his home. Police observed pry marks on the door and frame, however, no entry was gained and no items were reported missing.
Sunday, July 24
1:45 a.m. – Officers on routine patrol came across two men in a parked car at on 1100 Palmer Ave. Upon closer inspection, officers detected a strong smell of marijuana, and a further investigation revealed one of the car’s occupants—a Richbell Road resident—to be carrying three bags of marijuana. Other drug paraphernalia that was seized included two lighters, two Dutch Masters’ cigars, Clear Eyes’ drops, EZ-Wider rolling papers, two prescription bottles and a grey AMW-55 digital scale. The Richbell Road resident was arrested and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of marijuana.
