Police Blotter: In the Wrong Place At the Wrong Time, Is This My Car and Smashed Window, No Loot
The following arrest information was supplied by the Village and Town of Mamaroneck police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Village of Mamaroneck
Monday, June 27
7:26 p.m. – Police received a complaint of two suspicious males wearing red t-shirts attempting to open car doors on Palmer Avenue. Two men matching the descriptions provided by the caller were located behind the Palmer Terrace Apartment building on 320 Palmer Ave. One of the men was taken to police headquarters for identification purposes.

10:34 p.m. – An individual was arrested in Columbus Park for a village code violation.

9:05 a.m. – A resident of 500 Halstead Ave. reported that their driveway was blocked. Police issued a summons.
8:52 p.m. – A village code violation was issued for illegal dumping at the Department of Public Works (DPW) dump on Fayette Avenue.
Wednesday, June 29
6:03 a.m. – A suspicious person was found to be sleeping in the lobby of a building on 829 Halstead Ave. Police corrected the condition.
Town of Mamaroneck
Sunday, June 26
11:54 a.m. – Police responded to an aided call at Staples on 2444 Boston Post Road. While there, they arrested a 40-year old Port Chester resident on an outstanding warrant out of Port Chester.
Tuesday, June 28
8:09 p.m. – The owner of a car parked and unoccupied on Byron Place reported that their passenger side front window was smashed. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. The damage to the window totaled $200.
