Police Blotter: Snow Blower MIA, DWIs and Christmas Pooch More Work Than Expected

1:50 a.m. – A 47-year-old Lake Mohegan, NY woman driving a 2005 Mazda was pulled over in front of 199 W. Boston Post Rd. for a traffic infraction. She was later arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).

8:24 a.m. – The owner of a 1997 Toyota reported that the car was struck while it was parked and unoccupied in front of 651 Baldwin Pl.

3:30 a.m. – Despite the report of a fight in progress on Madison Avenue, when police arrived all parties were gone.
3:36 a.m. – A 27-year-old Bellevue, WA man was pulled over in front of 731 Mamaroneck Ave., near , for a traffic infraction. He was later arrested and charged with DWI.
Monday, Jan. 2
10:21 a.m. – The owner of a $600 snow blower reported that his machine had gone missing from his home on James Street during a 24-hour period between Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. The culprit is unknown.
5:26 p.m. – In a complicated turn of events, an employer became angry at her employee—who also lives with her—for keeping a gifted dog that he couldn’t take care of. The dog’s owner spent the night with a friend in Harrison to let things cool off before returning.
