Police Blotter: Stolen Car Located In NYC Borough, Village Mugging, and Three Car Smash
The following arrest information was supplied by the Village of Mamaroneck police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Village of Mamaroneck
Friday, May 27
11:34 a.m. – A driver was pulled over on 241 Mamaroneck Avenue—near i—for not wearing a seatbelt. The police then discovered the driver did not have a valid license; he was subsequently arrested for being an unlicensed operator. The driver posted bail and is due in Village of Mamaroneck (VOM) court soon.

11:53 a.m. – A 2009 Hyundai Tucson that was stolen from Hall Street on , was found at an unknown location in the Bronx. Mount Vernon police contacted VOM police regarding the find. The condition of the vehicle is unknown.
6:13 p.m.- After smashing her car into a street sign on Sheldrake Avenue, a 25-year old VOM resident fled the scene. Police located the driver and issued separate summonses for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and being an unlicensed driver.

Saturday, May 28
12:39 a.m. – A 24-year old VOM resident was pulled over by police on 1240 W. Boston Post Rd.—near the —for a motor vehicle infraction. After failing sobriety tests, he was then arrested and charged with DWI, first offense.
3:24 a.m. – A 36-year old Bronx resident was arrested and charged with DWI after police detected the odor of alcohol on his breath while investigating a claim that he had broken the handle off a gas pump on Mamaroneck Avenue. He was also found to be an unlicensed operator.
7:51 a.m. – A car parked on 109 West Street near Rye Neck High School was struck while parked and unoccupied. There was damage to a driver’s side mirror.
9:58 p.m. – Two men—a 53-year old VOM resident and a 54-year old New City resident—were issued village code violations for illegally dumping garbage in the back of the on 313 Fayette Ave.
Sunday, May 29
12:45 p.m. – A 18-year old Harrison woman was pulled over on 535 E. Boston Post Rd., near , for a moving violation. She was then found to be intoxicated, arrested, and charged with DWI, first offense.
2:05 a.m. – A group of four hooligans—two men and two women—cornered a 24-year old VOM resident on the 700 block of Mamaroneck Avenue and demanded money from him. The resident was punched in the upper body by one of the men, who then proceeded to pilfer $500. The resident did not wish to press charges against his assailants. No injuries were reported as a result of the encounter.
2:10 a.m. – After police investigated a complaint of youths making a ruckus on Orienta Avenue, they caught a 19-year old male with an open container of liquor and issued him a summons.
8:57 p.m. – A 73-year old woman driving an Acura plowed through three parked cars on Boston Post Road. The woman was issued three summonses for leaving the scene of an accident. Larchmont Police Department completed the investigation.
Monday, May 30
9:43 a.m. – The owner of a Hyundai noticed a red line clumsily spray-painted on his vehicle after it was parked on Grand Street overnight.
7:46 p.m. – Several youths were swimming in the water after-hours in Harbor Island Park despite signs warning them that it was prohibited. The condition was corrected.
