Police Blotter: Three Car Pile Up, Motel Shuffle and Stolen Car Deemed Unworthy
The following arrest information was supplied by the Village and Town of Mamaroneck police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Village of Mamaroneck
Friday, March 2
5:51 a.m. – Shortly after his 2000 Chevy was reported as stolen, police located a Deerfield Lane resident’s vehicle, parked nearby. There was no damage to the car.

3:17 p.m. – An incident involving a youth in a suspicious vehicle parked at was documented only.
9:22 p.m. – Two parties engaged in a dispute over a bill at the eventually settling on an amount that was mutually satisfactory. To avoid further arguments, one party was then taken to Vincent’s Motel.

Saturday, March 3
4:59 p.m. – A 22-year-old village man driving a 1992 Honda northbound on the 1600 block of Mamaroneck Avenue was cut off abruptly by an unknown driver, causing him to smash into two other cars: another 1992 Honda driven by a 56-year-old Bronxville man and a 1988 Mercedes Benz driven by a 52-year-old village woman. Although all parties complained of injuries, only the 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a head laceration.
6:46 p.m. – A Seahaven Drive resident reported a possible break-in at their home, but, upon police investigation, it turned out to be a false alarm.
Sunday, March 4
1:11 a.m. – After police pulled over a 2004 Toyota for a motor vehicle infraction in front of 658 Mamaroneck Ave., they arrested the driver for being an unlicensed operator after running his information through the system.
3:01 a.m. – A 2012 Yamaha motorcycle was reported stolen while it was parked and unoccupied on Fenimore Road anytime between March 3 at 6 p.m. and March 4 at 3 a.m.
6:18 a.m. – Concerned about the safety of an intoxicated person staggering around Mamaroneck Avenue unsteadily, a resident reported the incident to police. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment by EMS.
7:40 a.m. – While driving down Mamaroneck Avenue, an individual behind the wheel of a 2006 Toyota was pulled over by police when a license plate reader showed the vehicle’s registration was suspended. The driver was issued an appearance ticket and the car was towed away by .

Saturday, March 3
5:10 p.m. – A Harmon Drive resident reported a $300 fraudulent charge on an American Express card.
Sunday, March 4
1:45 p.m. – A West Boston Post Road resident reported receipt of a harassing letter. Police are investigating the matter.
3:05 p.m. – Two fraudulent transactions totaling $4,000 were reported on a McKenna Road resident’s checking account.
