Four men charged, 28 fake Visa, MasterCard credit cards recovered.
A stop of a speeding car driven by a Larchmont man on I-684 in Bedford led to the discovery of a batch of forged credit cards, according to State Police.
The driver, Napolean Mills, 23, of 1 Addison St., Larchmont, and three passengers were all arrested, with the finding of 28 fake Visa and MasterCard credit cards in their names. Police said the men admitted the cards were fake and that they had purchased them earlier in the day Thursday in New York City.
The car driven by Mills, a 2012 Nissan, was stopped about 4 p.m. Police said Mills was found to have a suspended driver’s license and the car he was driving was rented in someone else’s name. Mills was charged with vehicle and traffic violations and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
