Update: The Town of Mamaroneck's International Coastal Cleanup Day, that had been rescheduled to the Saturday, September 30 rain date, has been canceled due to inclement weather and very high tides. The Town of Mamaroneck Food Truck Festival has also been canceled.
MAMARONECK, NY — A rainout for the Town of Mamaroneck International Coastal Cleanup Day at the Hommocks Conservation Area wasn't ideal, but there is a silver lining in all those rain clouds — the makeup rain date coincides with the Town of Mamaroneck Annual Food Truck Festival at Memorial Park.
So, if you're looking to work up an appetite to take advantage of some of the best food truck menus in the world, from noon to 4 p.m., a little volunteering in the morning is just what the doctor ordered.
