Ralph's Italian Ices Closed By Department Of Health
The owner defied an order from the village to close by Friday.
MAMARONECK, NY — The embattled Ralph’s Italian Ices and Ice Cream in Mamaroneck seems to have finally met its match with the state Department of Health Monday. The agency ordered the shop to close over the weekend due to an expired health permit.
Owner Scott Rosenberg defied a village order to shut down by Friday, July 14, FIOS1 News said, and stayed open until early Saturday, incurring a $250 fine. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]
Rosenberg said he was considering a lawsuit, and said he would reopen.
