Report: Larchmont Embezzler Sentenced
Gregg Pierleoni pleaded guilty to stealing millions from his former employer, Collins Brothers Moving Corp.
Gregg Pierleoni, a former executive with Collins Brothers Moving Corp. in Larchmont, this week was sentenced to six years in prison after he pleaded guilty to stealing $5.7 million from the company, writes The Journal News.
Pierleoni used the money to finance a lavish lifestyle, authorities said, and in addition to his prison sentence, he must pay about $7.3 million in restitution, back taxes and other fines.
The New Fairfield, Conn. resident was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Vincent Briccetti in White Plains.
