Mom Let Her Daughters, Ages 5 and 6, Get Raped For Money
A Fulton County woman pleaded guilty and two men were convicted of raping and molesting the little girls, then giving their mom cash.

ATLANTA, GA — A woman has pleaded guilty in Fulton County to letting at least two men rape her daughters — who were 5 and 6 years old — in exchange for money. Morgan Summerlin, 25, pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree cruelty to children, enticing a child for indecent purposes and trafficking a person for sexual servitude, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced. She is scheduled to be sentenced on June 24.
"It is difficult to imagine facts that are more horrific than those found in this case," said Howard. "I am hoping these two little girls can somehow survive this abuse and grow into healthy adults who can lead a productive and fulfilling life."
Last week, a jury found 78-year-old Richard Office guilty on charges of rape, child molestation, trafficking, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual battery in the case. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 146 years.

In April of last year, the two girls, who are sisters, were living with temporary legal guardians because Summerlin was in jail in Bay County, Florida. One morning, the girls said that, while they were in their mother's custody, a man whom they called "Pop" touched them inappropriately and raped the 5-year-old.
They told their guardians that Summerlin took them to men's homes to be molested and raped. In the case of "Pop" — who would later be identified as Office — evidence would show that Summerlin took the girls to his home in Palmetto, a city located in Fulton and Coweta counties.
While Summerlin waited in the the living room, Office took the girls to his bedroom, where he kissed and touched them both. He raped the younger girl while the 6-year-old rubbed his feet. Afterward, he gave the girls $100 — which their mother immediately took.
"The impact that this ongoing sexual abuse had on those children is tragic, and we are grateful that the jury held the defendant accountable for his depraved conduct," said chief senior assistant District Attorney Irina Khasin, who prosecuted Office.
The girls' grandmother, Teresa Davison, pleaded guilty to second-degree cruelty to children in the case for failing to protect the girls after they told her they were being sexually abused. She was sentenced to five years, with one to serve. That sentence was commuted to the jail time she had already served.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Constance C. Russell is presiding over the case.
