“The goal of our short-stay program is to provide the highest level of skilled rehabilitative care so our patients can ‘get well and go home’ in a serene and nurturing environment,” said Jeffrey I. Farber, M.D., President and CEO of The New Jewish Home. “In addition to providing intensive rehabilitation, we wanted to make the entire experience as comfortable and productive as possible for our post-acute patients, especially as they face several significant transitions in such a short amount of time.”
The New Jewish Home’s Westchester campus, Sarah Neuman, offers short-stay rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, featuring small house communities based on the Green House Model of care.
