Second Half School Taxes Are Due In The Town Of Mamaroneck

The second half of the 2023/24 school tax bill is due by January 31, 2024, without penalties for those who have not yet made payment.

2023/24 Second Half School Tax Due Reminder

  • As a reminder, the second half of the 2023/24 School tax bill is due by January 31, 2024, without penalties for those who have not yet made payment.
  • Residents should use the second coupon on the tax bill mailed in August 2023 or reprint your bill at www.townofmamaroneckny.org.
  • Town Center will be CLOSED on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Tax Payments & Receipts

  • The Town encourages residents to continue to stay safe and utilize the Town’s Free online E-check services to pay your property taxes at NO COST to taxpayers at www.townofmamaroneckny.org.

  • You may drop your tax payments (Check or Money Orders ONLY) in the locked drop box located in the lobby of Town Center at 740 W. Boston Post Rd. Tax receipts will NOT be immediately provided for payments made in person until further notice.

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT TAX RECEIPTS FOR PAYMENTS MADE BY MAIL OR PLACED IN THE DROP BOX WILL BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST ONLY. Please call or email the Tax Office at (914) 381-7860 at TaxOffice@TownofMamaroneckNY.org. Alternatively, payment receipts may be printed online at www.townofmamaroneckny.org after payments are posted.

  • Credit/Debit Cards: New York State law requires taxpayers to pay the convenience fee. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express. Credit card fees are 2.45% of the tax bill per transaction. VISA Debit cards are $3.95 per transaction.

    • Mail Delivery

    The United States Postal Service (USPS®) continues to experience processing and delivery delays nationwide. Please mail your payments in early to avoid penalties. If using the US Post Office maintain a copy or photo of the postmark date on your envelope January 31, 2024.

    Banking Software Checks

    Please note that tax payments made through personal online banking sites must be postmarked with a legible United States postmark no later than January 31, 2024, to be considered timely. Please note that banks often batch payments that delay mailing and do not have official postmarks. We recommend using e-checks as an alternative.

    Please sign up to receive emails from the Town reminding you when property taxes are due. Simply go to our website:  www.townofmamaroneckny.org click on the Notify Me Button and follow the instructions.
