Sedona And LM Lions Help Pick Up The Tab For The Fuller Center

In July, Sedona raised $1,618 in support of the organization through its Dine Out for Charity program. The Lions contributed another grand.

MAMARONECK, NY —In July, the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions teamed up with Mamaroneck’s Sedona Taphouse’s Dine Out for Charity program in support of The Fuller Center and the results were a feast-worthy bounty.

Sedona dedicates a full month of Mondays each month throughout the year to support local charities and service groups. In July, Sedona raised $1,618 in support of The Fuller Center. The Lions contributed $1000, making a combined total donation of $2,618.

The Fuller Center for Housing, a local non-profit based in New Rochelle, promotes collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations to build, rehabilitate and provide affordable home ownership for people in need. Through their D.A.R.T. program (Disaster Assistance Response Team), the Fuller Center is also front and center in dealing with and responding to local emergencies.

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions, celebrating their Centennial, focus on supporting existing non-profit and community service groups by bringing community service leaders together to determine needs, solutions and resources. The LM Lions are part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization of over 1.4 million members. The Lions signature cause is Vision/Blindness, along with Hunger, the Environment, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer and the future of our Youth. They are signatories of the United Nations resolutions on women’s and refugee rights, and are currently active in Afghanistan & Ukrainian refugee resettlement. In addition, affordable housing is a local Lions priority.
