Slick Roads Cause Accident in Mamaroneck
A woman struck a left median wall after losing control of her car at Exit 18B on I-95.
An 18-year-old Westchester woman traveling northbound on I-95 lost control of her vehicle at 10:43 a.m. while turning off onto Exit 18B in Mamaroneck, striking the left median wall, said New York State Trooper Brady Ng.
Although the woman was traveling at a reasonable rate of speed, due to heavy and unrelenting rain this morning, she lost control of her 2008 Ford Fusion as she slowed down to take the exit.
The woman was taken to Sound Shore hospital for minor head pain.
